Frequently Asked Questions
- 01. What types of parts do you supply?
We specialize in rare, discontinued, and no-longer-available components for vintage automobiles. Our current focus is Ferrari, particularly models that are no longer fully supported through conventional channels. We selectively assist with other significant marques when appropriate.
- 02. How can I get in touch with you?
You can email us at info@unobtainiumsupply.com or call us at 351-210-2307.
- 03. How quickly will you respond to my inquiry?
All inquiries are acknowledged promptly, typically within one business day. Some requests require research before a meaningful response can be given, but you will not be left wondering whether your message was received. We do try to take weekends for production, but you may be surprised to hear from us on those days too!
- 04. Do you stock parts, or do you make them?
Both. Some components are held in inventory; others are manufactured on site. Availability depends on rarity, condition requirements, and current market access.
- 05. Can you tell me immediately if a part is available?
Not always. For rare or discontinued components, accuracy matters more than speed. We review each request carefully before confirming availability or timelines.
- 06. What if a part is difficult or impossible to source or create?
If a component cannot be located or created to our standards, we will tell you directly rather than prolong uncertainty. An honest answer is preferable to an unreliable promise.
- 07. Do you provide estimates or lead times?
Yes. Lead times vary widely depending on the part and sourcing conditions. We avoid speculative estimates and will update you if circumstances change. We always operate with the assumption that time is of the essence and accuracy is a priority.
- 08. Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We regularly work with clients and shipping partners worldwide and will advise on logistics once availability is confirmed.
- 09. Are the parts original, reproduction, or remanufactured?
This depends on the component. We clearly communicate the nature of each part—original, period-correct, remanufactured, or reproduction—before any commitment is made.
- 10. What information should I include when contacting you?
The more detail, the better. Model, year, chassis range, part number (if known), and intended use all help us assess availability efficiently.
- 11. I have something to be repaired - can you do that?
Yes! We are specialists in repairing column switches
- 12. Why choose Unobtanium Supply?
Because supplying rare parts requires more than access—it requires responsiveness, judgment, and follow-through. We focus on clear communication and dependable execution from inquiry through delivery.
